External Monitoring

Internal EMS Audits:
Conducted semi-annually, as specified in the EMS Review Procedure

Records are maintained by the EMS Coordinator for a minimum of 3 years.

State Regulatory Compliance Inspections:
Conducted by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) at an interval they determine.

Records are maintained by the EHS Department for a minimum of 3 years.

(Records of Title V air permit inspections may also be maintained by the Physical Facilities Department for a minimum of 3 years.)

Internal Regulatory Compliance Inspections:
Conducted routinely, as specified in the EHS Compliance Assistance Program

Records are maintained by the EHS Department for a minimum of 3 years.

Federal Regulatory Compliance Inspections:
Conducted by the Environmental Protection Agency at an interval they determine.

Records are maintained by the EHS Department for a minimum of 3 years.

(Records of Title V air permit inspections may also be maintained by the Physical Facilities Department for a minimum of 3 years.)

(Optional) Departmental Self Audits:
Conducted monthly, as specified in the Monitoring & Measuring Procedure

Bi-Weekly Chemistry, Biological Sciences & Chemical Engineering self audits & inspection form

Records are maintained by the applicable department for a minimum of 3 years.

ISO 14001 Certification Audits:
Conducted semi-annually by NQA USA, Inc.

Records are maintained by the EMS Coordinator.
